Gree error code E5

What it means

Overcurrent protection on compressor or main circuit.

Possible causes

High line voltage or unstable supply Compressor mechanical or electrical fault causing high current Fan motor overload

Suggested fix

Measure supply voltage and running currents, isolate which load is exceeding its rating and inspect for mechanical binding; replace failing motors or compressor and correct power quality issues before restarting.

Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
