Gree error code H1

What it means

Defrost mode status indication (not a fault).

Possible causes

Normal frost accumulation on outdoor coil Low ambient operation causing periodic defrost Control algorithm initiating defrost cycle

Suggested fix

Confirm H1 clears when defrost completes and that heating performance is acceptable; if defrost is too frequent or ineffective, have the sensors and coil condition inspected.

Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
