What it means
Communication error between indoor and outdoor units.
Possible causes
Interconnecting cable open or reversed Outdoor unit not powered Failed communication driver on indoor or outdoor PCB
Suggested fix
Check the interconnecting cable routing, terminal mapping and continuity, and confirm that the outdoor unit has correct power; only after wiring and supply checks pass should you consider replacing the relevant control board.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
