Midea error code E4
What it means
Compressor or discharge temperature error.
Possible causes
Overheating of compressor discharge line Poor condenser airflow Refrigerant overcharge or non-condensables increasing discharge temperature
Suggested fix
Inspect outdoor coil and fan operation and verify operating pressures and discharge-line temperature; correct airflow or charge issues and only then clear the error and restart the unit.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
