Midea error code E5
What it means
Fan motor fault or abnormal fan speed.
Possible causes
Outdoor or indoor fan not starting Seized fan bearings Defective fan driver circuit or capacitor
Suggested fix
Check for free mechanical rotation of the fan (power isolated), test motor windings and driver outputs; replace the fan motor or associated electronics once the defective part has been identified through testing.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
