Sinclair error code E5
What it means
Current protection on compressor or fan circuit.
Possible causes
Overcurrent on motor windings Supply voltage abnormal Mechanical seizure in rotating equipment
Suggested fix
Measure currents and voltages, inspect motors for mechanical binding and insulation issues; correct supply problems and replace faulty motors or compressor when testing shows them to be the cause.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
