What it means
Outdoor ambient temperature sensor fault.
Possible causes
Sensor physically damaged by weather Wiring deterioration Connector or PCB input issues
Suggested fix
Inspect the outdoor sensor assembly and cable, compare readings to actual ambient temperature; renew the sensor or repair wiring and connectors to restore correct measurement.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
