Sinclair error code F5
What it means
Discharge line temperature sensor fault.
Possible causes
Thermistor failure Harness burnt or damaged by high discharge temperature Connector loose at PCB
Suggested fix
Inspect the discharge sensor and associated wiring for thermal and mechanical damage and test resistance; reroute and insulate wiring appropriately and fit a new sensor where required before clearing the fault.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
