Alliance error code E2
What it means
Indoor temperature or evaporator sensor error.
Possible causes
Thermistor open or short Damaged sensor harness Poor connector contact at indoor PCB
Suggested fix
Identify the affected sensor from Alliance/Midea service information, measure resistance against the expected curve and inspect wiring; change the sensor or repair the harness if readings remain abnormal.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
