Alliance error code E3
What it means
Refrigerant leak or low capacity protection.
Possible causes
System undercharge from leakage Incorrect charge during installation Restriction leading to low evaporator temperature
Suggested fix
A technician should confirm low capacity with gauges and temperature clamps, perform leak detection and repair, and then recharge accurately by weight; re-test operation before clearing the alarm.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
