What it means

High pressure protection in the refrigeration circuit.

Possible causes

Blocked or dirty condenser coil Refrigerant overcharge Closed liquid or discharge service valves

Suggested fix

Clean and inspect the condenser coil and verify condenser fan operation, check valve positions and measure high-side pressure; adjust charge and correct mechanical problems following Carrier service procedures.

Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
