Carrier error code E2
What it means
Evaporator coil temperature sensor fault.
Possible causes
Evaporator sensor open or short Loose connector at indoor PCB Damaged sensor harness
Suggested fix
Measure sensor resistance and examine wiring and connector integrity; replace the sensor or repair harness as required and verify readings against Carrier specifications.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
