What it means
Communication fault between the indoor and outdoor unit.
Possible causes
Interconnecting cable loose, miswired or damaged Outdoor unit not powered Communication circuit fault on indoor or outdoor PCB
Suggested fix
Confirm the interconnecting cable core allocation, termination quality and continuity, and verify that the outdoor unit has correct power; if wiring and supply are sound, proceed with PCB communication diagnostics and replace only the confirmed faulty board.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
