Alliance error code EC
What it means
Refrigerant leakage alarm.
Possible causes
Control algorithm detecting serious leak Very low suction pressure Sensor or wiring fault mimicking leak
Suggested fix
Switch off the system and have a technician perform thorough leak detection and pressure checks, repair and recharge as necessary; examine sensors and their wiring if EC persists without a confirmed leak.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
