Alliance error code F3
What it means
Outdoor ambient temperature sensor fault.
Possible causes
Sensor exposed to weather-related damage Broken lead Corroded connector at outdoor PCB
Suggested fix
Examine sensor and wiring for physical and corrosion damage and compare readings to actual ambient; renew the sensor or repair wiring to restore accurate outdoor temperature measurement.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
