What it means
Indoor evaporator temperature sensor fault.
Possible causes
Evaporator sensor open or short Connector partially inserted Sensor displaced from coil
Suggested fix
Check sensor placement and wiring and compare resistance values to the manufacturer's chart; reposition or replace the sensor and repair harness issues before returning the unit to service.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
