TCL error code E5
What it means
Overcurrent or overload protection.
Possible causes
Compressor mechanical or electrical fault Fan motor overload Abnormal supply voltage conditions
Suggested fix
Measure current draw of each motor and check supply voltage, investigate for mechanical binding or insulation failure; replace defective motors or compressor and stabilize supply before resetting protection.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
