TCL error code E4
What it means
Compressor discharge temperature protection.
Possible causes
Poor condenser cooling causing high discharge temperature Low mass flow due to low charge Incorrect refrigerant or non-condensables in system
Suggested fix
Evaluate condenser operation and verify charge quantity and type, measure discharge temperature and pressures; correct any identified fault before restarting the compressor and clearing the error.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
