What it means
Refrigerant leak detection alarm.
Possible causes
Substantial loss of refrigerant Leak at flare or brazed joints Defective pressure or temperature sensor misreporting conditions
Suggested fix
Shut down the unit and have a technician perform standard leak and pressure testing, repair any leaks and recharge with the correct refrigerant quantity; confirm sensor performance and wiring if no leak is found but EC persists.
Safety first. Isolate the power supply before inspecting any unit. Refrigerant-circuit
and electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified, registered technician.
